It's been a crazy summer and fall! It feels like our family has been on the go-go-go mode since Max was born this summer. We attended my beautiful sister's wedding in California, spent an amazing week on the beach in North Carolina, spent quality family time boating and swimming in Cheat Lake, visited my husband's childhood zoo with my father-in-law, went to a super fun fall fest at Gaver Farm where 45 fun activities really weren't an advertising exaggeration, and took many beautiful summer and fall walks at our local parks. Not a dull moment, but gosh, I am slightly looking forward to cozy blankets and hot cocoa by the fire.

This isn't the best photo for some of the reason is now one of my favorite photos of Evie. It's rare that there's a quiet moment in her toddler life. It was one of the first times I had both children on my own and visiting a new city made it so much harder to wrangle two kids. This photo was taken as we were about to depart Cocao Cinnamon - a cute little coffee shop in Durham where we three got to take a break to enjoy an iced tea and share a cocao cinnamon cookie :)
